>> kim: speaking of the weather back to what we opened the program about. you see the live pictures on your screen. we're talk about hermine and the breaking news is hermine turned into a hurricane yesterday. it is now been downgraded to a tropical storm. winds are still blowing in florida as hermine moved her way out of that state. live pictures on your screen as we speak. winds decreased to 70 miles per hour as i coast and moving into georgia overnight as well. we know hermine slammed the gulf coast. it is the first hurricane to hit florida in 11 years. we were talking about the last time florida saw a hurricane and that was wilma. we are getting a look at some of the damage associated with hermine. the maximum sustained winds are 70 miles per hour.

associated with hermine. we'll stay on top of this developing story throughout the broadcast. >> dana: a man is dead after he was shot and killed inside a car at a local park on lake mead boulevard near martin luther king. the man shot in the chest and died at a nearby hospital. details on what led up to the shooting remain unknown. officers say a tall african-american man was seen leaving the scene on foot. no suspects in custody. if have you crime stoppers. las vegas fire investigators trying to determine if anyone was hurt in a late night fire that destroyed a vacant apartment building. firefighters called out to the building on cincinnati avenue shortly after midnight. witnesses say they have seen squatters going in and out of what was supposed to be a vacant building. firefighters saw one person running from the building as
